Today (5 Jan 2025) progress in the case of Mr. Aphichai, aged 26, who died from an incident where police officers from Surin City Police Station tried to stop the incident yesterday (3 Jan 2025) after the deceased had been admitted for treatment for appendicitis at Surin Hospital before going on a rampage, using an axe that was kept as a fire extinguisher and an IV pole to attack patients, relatives of other patients and destroy property. Two police officers on patrol intervened and the perpetrator was shot dead.
